Al-Yawm (Today): The Day Heaven Smiled

Final Part: Ghadir—The Proof of Support, the End of Every Excuse

Love, if it remains only in the heart, has not yet reached its fullest expression.
True love acquires meaning when a person is willing to do something for the one they love, accept a responsibility, and take a step forward. This is precisely the point at which the concept of “supporting the Imam” turns from a beautiful feeling into a real duty.
But what does supporting the Imam mean?
Not everyone is expected to do the same thing, nor is everyone expected to be present in the same arena. Every person, according to their ability, circumstances, and the blessings at their disposal, can play a part on the side of truth.
One person lends support through prayer; another through wealth and resources; another through writing and speech; another through raising children, cultural work, and sincere service; and yet another by standing firm for the truth at the very moment when remaining silent is easier.
So the central question is not:
“What resources do I lack?”
The question is:
“With what I have, what am I doing to support the truth?”
If you have a voice, you can bring a truth to light. If you have standing in society, you can put it to use in the cause of truth. If you have wealth, you can relieve a difficulty. If you have ideas, expertise, or artistic ability, you can bring them into the field of action. And even if you have nothing but a broken heart, that very heart can raise its hands in prayer and never cease lending support.
Supporting the friend of God is not a momentary, emotionally driven act; it is a way of life. It is a state of faithfulness that compels a person to ask themselves every day:
What is my contribution to supporting the truth today?
And the answer to this question is not completed through thought alone; it is completed through action.
This clip reminds us that support is not merely a good feeling; it is a decision, action, and perseverance. A true supporter who awaits the Imam is not someone who withdraws at the first sign of fatigue or tells themselves, “There is nothing I can do.”
As long as a person has the ability to think, speak, build, serve, pray, or stand firm, there is also a way to offer support.
Perhaps an act that seems small in your own eyes may be the beginning of a great change.
Ghadir was not merely the proclamation of wilayah; it marked the beginning of the responsibility of those who said they had accepted this wilayah.
So do more than just watch this video; afterward, spend a little time alone with yourself and earnestly ask yourself one question:
“How can I, with what I have at my disposal today, be a supporter of the truth?”
Perhaps the answer to this very question will open a new path before you.
