Lecture Topic: The Charter of Awaiting in Ghadir al-Yawm; the Day the Sky Smiled. Let Us Whisper the Echo of That Covenant, Heart to Heart with Patience, as We Await the Last Imam of Ghadir. Speaker: Professor Hamed Sarem
The Manifestation of Faith: A Call Born of Fidelity. Ghadir is not merely an event in history; rather, it marks the beginning of a mutual commitment. Through our faith in this covenant, we ask God, who has made the promise, to bring His ultimate assistance to fruition. But this request comes at a cost! In verse 200 of the blessed Surah Al ‘Imran, God has outlined the golden triad of awaiting for those whose hearts are devoted to the guardianship proclaimed at Ghadir: *“patience” (sabr), “mutual perseverance” (musabarah), and “maintaining vigilant ties” (murabatah). These three principles constitute the practical charter of everyone who truly awaits the advent of the last Imam of Ghadir. Along this path, we practice standing firm through storms (sabr), supporting one another in the cause of truth (musabarah), and guarding the boundaries of our creed and our Imam (murabatah), so that we may prepare the way for that dawn. You are part of this movement! My friend, someone who truly awaits does not sit idle; they build, stand firm, and keep going. The path of Ghadir is not the path of those who have grown weary; it is the path of those who refuse to let the banner of hope fall, even amid the greatest hardships. Now that you have heard this truth, it is time for you to do your part too! Do not let this light remain only on your own phone. Send this video to your friends, share it in your stories, and let others know that we are practicing “patience and steadfastness” in preparation for a momentous event: the advent. By sharing this, you are playing on the team of the supporters of the Imam of the Age (may God hasten his relief). * Let’s get moving together!
